Bench 08 — the exchange
Swap Trade any Solana token at the best available route, aggregated across every major venue by Jupiter. Solana network only — no other chains, no bridging.
Solana only
This bench trades tokens on the Solana network exclusively — SPL and Token-2022
mints. It does not touch Ethereum, Base, BNB or any other chain, and it does not
bridge. If your wallet is multichain (Phantom shows several chains side by side),
tokens held on other networks will not appear here and their contract addresses
will not quote. To trade those, use a venue on their own chain.
How routing works
Quotes come from Jupiter, which splits your trade across Raydium, Orca, Meteora and
the rest to find the best output. The quote shows the estimated amount received,
the price impact, and the venues used — before you sign anything.
Slippage
Trades are protected by a 0.5% slippage limit: if the price moves further than that
between quote and execution, the transaction fails rather than filling badly, and
you pay nothing but the network fee.
Costs
Swapping is free at the forge — you pay only the network fee and the venues'
own liquidity fees baked into the route.
Questions at the counter Why won't my token quote? A quote needs a route, and a route needs liquidity. Brand-new tokens with no pool cannot be swapped anywhere yet — open a pool at the liquidity bench first. Also check the address is a Solana mint: contract addresses from other chains will never quote here.
Why is the price impact so high? Thin liquidity. Your trade is large relative to the pool, so it moves the price against you. Split the trade into smaller pieces, or accept that small caps cost more to enter and exit.
What fees do I pay to swap? The forge adds nothing. You pay the Solana network fee and the liquidity fees of the venues on your route — those are baked into the quoted output, so the estimate you see is what you get within slippage.
Which wallets work here? Phantom, Solflare, and Backpack all work on desktop and in their mobile in-app browsers. You sign every swap yourself — the forge never holds funds or keys.
